Meet Pamela! Pamela was born and raised in North Philadelphia. She is a Temple employee and a Temple Alum. Pamela loves fashion, event planning, and interior decorating, which lead her to open Bizzy Bea Bridal.
Origin Story
“My mother, Ms. Bea was one of my greatest inspirations for starting this business. She was a self taught seamstress and artist. She would create the most beautiful clothing and could sketch and create the most beautiful designs without the use of patterns. We shared the love of fashion, specifically bridal fashion and this is why I wanted to open a bridal boutique and pay homage to her by giving my business my mother’s namesake.” Pamela opened her shop in January of 2021. She grew up just a few blocks away from her shop and that is why she chose North Broad as her location.
At Bizzy Bea Bridal, Pamela believes that “whatever a bride prefers to wear on her special day is as unique to her as her fingerprint. Each bride should honor her soul and creative spirit by wearing whatever speaks to it. Whatever she chooses should make her look and feel absolutely splendid!”

“The best part of owning my own business is meeting people from far and near as strangers and feeling like family by the end of their appointments. It is exciting to be a part of their special day. I also love being able to set my own schedule and work at my own pace. I really hate the “business” side of running my own business like keeping track of expenses, receipts, paperwork, etc…”
